1. The medium water should be clean, non-corrosive and impurity-free.
Generally, soft water after water treatment or water filtered by a filter tank is used.

2. In order to ensure that the safety valve is in good condition, the safety valve should be artificially exhausted 3 to 5 times before the end of each shift; if the safety valve is found to be lagging or stuck, the safety valve must be repaired or replaced before it can be put into operation again.

3. The electrodes of the water level controller should be cleaned regularly to prevent the electric control failure caused by electrode fouling. Use a #00 abrasive cloth to remove any buildup from the electrodes. This work must be done with no steam pressure on the equipment and with the power cut off.

4. In order to ensure that there is no or little scaling in the cylinder, the cylinder must be cleaned once every shift.

5. In order to ensure the normal operation of the generator, it must be cleaned once every 300 hours of operation, including electrodes, heating elements, inner walls of cylinders, and various connectors.

6. In order to ensure the safe operation of the generator; the generator must be checked regularly. Regularly inspected items include water level controllers, circuits, the tightness of all valves and connecting pipes, the use and maintenance of various instruments, and their reliability. and precision. Pressure gauges, pressure relays and safety valves must be sent to the superior measurement department for calibration and sealing at least once a year before they can be used.

7. The generator should be inspected once a year, and the safety inspection should be reported to the local labor department and carried out under its supervision.
