How is the temperature of the electrically heated steam generator maintained?

An electrically heated steam generator is a boiler that can raise the temperature in a short period of time without relying entirely on manual operation. It has high heating efficiency. After heating, the electric steam generator can maintain a high temperature for a certain period of time to reduce heat loss. So, how is its temperature maintained?

01

1. Constant temperature maintenance: When the generator is working, the opening of the thermostatic valve needs to be adjusted so that high-temperature water can be continuously replenished from the water inlet, and the constant temperature can be maintained by continuously replenishing hot water. According to the production process requirements, hot and cold water pipes are installed at the water location. The cleaning hot water temperature should not be lower than 40°C, and the adjustment range is 58°C~63°C.

2. Power adjustment: The generator is used to heat hot water and has the advantages of simple and stable operation, high thermal efficiency and low operating cost. The power can be adjusted in multiple levels according to temperature requirements to ensure normal operation of the production process.

3. Energy saving: The high-temperature steam generated can quickly heat hot water with high thermal efficiency. The total annual operating cost is 1/4 of coal.

The use of electric steam generators is very common, but with the recent increasing environmental concerns, the use of generators has also been affected. Specifically, atmospheric corrosion is moisture corrosion, that is, under the conditions of humid air and dirty container walls, the oxygen in the air will electrochemically corrode the metal through the water film of the container.

Atmospheric corrosion of electric steam generators usually occurs in humid places and places where water or moisture tends to accumulate. For example, after the boiler is shut down, reliable anti-corrosion measures are not taken, but the boiler water is discharged. Therefore, the lower anchor bolts of the furnace lining and the bottom of the horizontal boiler shell. Tests have shown that dry air generally has no corrosive effect on carbon steel and other ferrous alloys. Only when the air is humid to a certain extent will steel corrode, and contamination of the container wall and air will accelerate corrosion.
