12 Basic Requirements for Electrically Heated Steam Generators

In recent years, with the further liberalization of electricity policies, electricity prices have been priced at peak and valley average times. As a green electric steam generator, its relevant parameters summarize several requirements stipulated by the state.
1. The power cabinet and control cabinet of the electric steam generator shall comply with GB/T14048.1, GB/T5226.1, GB7251.1, GB/T3797, GB50054. The power cabinet shall be provided with an obvious and effective disconnecting device, and the control cabinet shall be provided with an emergency stop button. The selected electrical appliances should meet the requirements of dynamic stability and thermal stability under short-circuit conditions, and the electrical appliances used for short-circuit opening should meet the on-off capacity under short-circuit conditions.
2. The steam generator must be equipped with indicators for safe operation parameters such as pressure, water level and temperature.
3. The electric steam generator should be equipped with a voltmeter, an ammeter, and an active power meter or a multi-power active power meter.
4. The steam generator should be equipped with an automatic water supply control device.
5. The steam generator must be equipped with an automatic control device so that the electric heating group can be put into operation and out of operation.

6. The steam generator should be equipped with automatic load adjustment device. When the steam pressure of the steam generator exceeds or falls below the set value and the outlet temperature of the steam generator exceeds or falls below the set value, the control device should be able to automatically reduce or increase the input power of the steam generator.
7. The steam generator with steam-water interface should be equipped with a water shortage protection device. When the water level of the steam generator is lower than the protection water shortage water level (or the low water level limit), the electric heating power supply is cut off, an alarm signal is issued, and a manual reset is performed before restarting.
8. The pressure steam generator should be installed with an overpressure protection device. When the pressure of the steam generator exceeds the upper limit, cut off the power supply of the electric heating, send out an alarm signal, and perform a manual reset before restarting.
9. There must be a reliable electrical connection between the ground terminal of the steam generator and the metal casing, power cabinet, control cabinet or metal parts that may be charged. The connection resistance between the steam generator and the ground terminal shall not be greater than 0.1. The ground terminal shall be of sufficient size to carry the maximum ground current that may occur. The steam generator and its power supply cabinet and control cabinet shall be marked with obvious grounding marks on the main grounding terminal.
10. The electric steam generator should have sufficient voltage strength to withstand a cold voltage of 2000v and a hot voltage of 1000v, and withstand a voltage test of 50hz for 1 minute without breakdown or flashover.
11. The electric steam generator should be equipped with overcurrent protection, short circuit protection, leakage protection, overvoltage protection and phase failure protection.
12. The environment of the electric steam generator should not have flammable, explosive, corrosive gases and conductive dust, and should not have obvious shock and vibration.
