Sterilization is to maintain the production culture medium at a certain temperature and pressure for a certain period of time to kill the spores of miscellaneous bacteria (bacteria) in the culture medium, promote the growth of edible fungi, improve yield and quality, and improve the efficiency of the cultivators. Generally, the culture medium can be maintained at 121 degrees Celsius for 20 minutes to achieve the sterilization effect, and all mycelial nutrients, spores, and spores have been killed. However, if the substrate contains glucose, sprigs, bean sprout juice, vitamins and other substances, it is better to maintain it at 115 degrees Celsius for 20 minutes. Otherwise, excessive temperature will destroy the nutrients and produce toxic substances that are not conducive to the growth of edible fungi.
